Mechanical Engineer (m/f)
Help us engineer the next generation of movable structures.
About the role
What will you do?
As Mechanical Engineer you design and draw a variety of constructions and installations for EWAC Medical, such as movement equipment, modular pools and movable floors. SolidWorks is primarily used for modelling and drawing. You are also responsible for the complete drawing package and for entering all required parts into the ERP system. A number of products also contain electronic/IT components that can be assembled independently or jointly. You are part of a project team and work together through the whole process from idea to end product. You prepare functional and technical specifications for new projects and carry out feasibility studies — including calculations such as FEA. Setting up, training and supervising new projects are all part of your role.
The work within each project is varied. You are in regular contact with suppliers about the status of new developments.
Occasionally we will ask you to accompany our team on site during the installation of a project you have supervised. You may also travel to the construction site to carry out a pre-inspection in preparation for the installation of our equipment, or to provide input for the engineering process. Our clients are located all over the world.
